How to Get Involved

attend a meeting

All mental health providers and related professionals are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings. No need to contact us in advance. We will be pleased to welcome you when you arrive and answer any of your questions. Attendance costs $20 for non-members, but is free if you decide to become a member.

become a member

Regular membership costs $75 a year. As a member, you are able to attend our monthly CEU presentations for free. Most presentations earn 1.5 CEUs, plus we offer at least one annual Ethics training that counts for 3 or 6 CEUs. We also offer a consult group that meets for one hour prior to our monthly meetings. In addition, we are always looking for new ways to serve our members, the profession as a whole, and our clients. We offer special discounts on membership to students, related professionals, and group members.

To become a member, you can go here, sign up at any one of our meetings, or contact our Secretary, Alexa Lenning, by email.

We have many opportunities to volunteer and we welcome your participation. We need help with setting up for our meetings, or working at our refreshment table or the registration table. We have a number of committees that work on everything from developing our CEU programs to nominating our officers, improving our social media outreach, and refining our bylaws. We also encourage members to consider leadership roles in the organization, including serving on the Executive Council as an officer. If you are interested in volunteering with PCCA, please contact our Member-at-Large, Alyssa Hagmann, by email.

present your expertise

Our Education Committee is always looking for great speakers to offer interesting and informative CEU presentations at our monthly meetings. We now offer a small honorarium to our speakers. If you have a topic that reflects your expertise that might be helpful to other mental health providers and related professionals, we would love to hear from you. You can download our Presentation Proposal Form to be considered for a future PCCA meeting. Or you can contact our President-Elect, Paul Duke, by email.
